After my surgery finished at 12pm I went down to the Didsbury Festival. Good weather and a great turn-out. I'm now sporting an England flag on my jumper (in time for the match this evening) from the VINE project. VINE is a unique venture aimed to create a fund to support vulnerable children in Kwa Zulu Natal who have lost their parents through AIDS. The England flags are made by the grandmothers of these children using traditional Zulu Beadwork.
All proceeds go directly to support the children's needs and I've agreed to try a sell a box of 25., so please let me know if you want to buy one!
